Masses at the chapel will begin again this Friday. Starting this Friday, mass will be held each Friday at 9:00 AM. They will be celebrated by Msgr Jim Hutton during Father Raymond’s well deserved vacation and visit to his homeland Nigeria.

Masses at the chapel are suspended until after the holidays. They will resume the second week of January. When masses resume they will be celebrated by Msgr Jim Hutton during Father Raymond’s well deserved vacation and visit to his homeland Nigeria.
Also, please note that the mass schedule may change in the new year to better accomdodate the new academic schedule. Changes will be announced once they have been decided.

The Sudbury Chamger Singers are looking forward to presenting their Christmas concerts at the Church of the Epiphany on December the 19th and the 20th. This year’s music selections are all from the Renaissance and Baroque period, including works by the English composers William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes, in addition to the whole masterpiece of Vivaldi’s Gloria, accompanied by a string quartet. The program is promised to be special – full of beautiful and glorious music.

Mass will be held Thursday Mornings at 9:00 beginning November 20th, 2025.
Mass will be celebrated each Thursday morning after that. For the time being the liturgy will be celebrated in English with french elements added when possible. The intent is thta the Liturgy will develop into a fully bilingual liturgy.

Fr. Raymond Akor has been appointed pastoral administrator of St Ignatius of Loyola Parish at the University of Sudbury as of October 1st, 2025.
Fr. Raymond will provide leadership and pastoral services at St. Ignaitus of Loyola parish while continue to exercise his responsibilities as pastor of Christ the King parish in downtown Sudbury.
For the time being Fr. Raymond will celebrate Masses on Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM. In addition he will begin building up the parish community and he will work towards ensuring that other pastoral services are made available to the University community as soon as possible.
